What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support, assessment, and statutory intervention.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, making evidence-based recommendations and plans to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
• Lead and contribute to Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children processes where required.
• Develop and implement family-centred support plans that build on strengths and promote sustainable change.

Person Specification:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England are necessary.
• Successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) where applicable is advantageous.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development is essential to continue growing in this field.
• Experience working within Children's Social Care services, specifically managing complex cases involving significant risk and vulnerability, is required.
• Demonstrable experience undertaking statutory assessments and safeguarding interventions is essential.
