You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team, working collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a swift and effective safeguarding response outside normal working hours.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families, ensuring compliance with statutory and departmental requirements.

  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, performing assessments, planning, implementing, and reviewing tailored social work interventions.

  • Conduct urgent assessments and decision-making in out-of-hours situations, ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing at all times.

  • Work collaboratively with the Integrated Front Door and daytime teams to ensure continuity and effective follow-up support.

  • Maintain professional standards in line with Social Work England’s Code of Practice, promoting best practice and ethical conduct.

  • Record and share accurate information efficiently within the case management system and with partner agencies.

  •  Mon-Thurs 5pm, until 8.30am, Friday 4.30pm until 8.30am and Saturday – Sunday evenings 5pm – 8.30am and Saturday and Sunday day time 8.30am – 5pm
