What you will do:

- Hold and manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases, ensuring all actions align with the Knowledge and Skills Statement for Child and Family Social Workers.
- Maintain comprehensive case records including assessments, plans, and court reports to uphold professional standards.
- Engage in direct work with children, young people, and families using a solid understanding of child development and effective communication skills.
- Conduct critically-reflective analyses to assess child and family circumstances, making informed decisions based on current theory.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders ensuring seamless communication and collaboration in line with the Working Together policy.
- Contribute actively to team dynamics, assisting managers and supporting colleagues to meet service goals.
- Participate in the Social Care Academy to support a culture of learning and personal professional development.
