What you will do:

  • Manage an allocated caseload involving routine social work interventions, understanding when to escalate cases to more experienced practitioners for complex input.
  • Provide essential support to adults and children at risk, their families, and carers, while identifying and assessing risks to develop plans that minimize them.
  • Engage in assessments, crafting and designing care and support plans, as well as navigating education plans and making recommendations for additional external support when needed.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, ensuring resources are optimally used and the necessary approvals obtained to implement care and support strategies.
  • Participate in a duty system, addressing urgent cases promptly, conducting assessments, and planning immediate crisis responses to manage potential risks effectively.
