Locum Social Worker - Adults Learning Disabilities Team in York, earning £40 hourly. This is an ongoing, hybrid basis role available.

What you will do:

- Maintain safe practice, ensuring care needs are met, reducing risk, and ensuring continuity of practice.
- Support with high waiting lists and urgent demands on duty.
- Manage a varied caseload including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), Integrated Care Board (continuing healthcare) and generic complex cases.
- Oversee the Preparing for Adulthood awaiting allocation list, dealing with high numbers and young people approaching 18 years of age with no transitional pathway.
- Demonstrate sharp analytical skills and excellent command of written English.
- Stay motivated and committed to meeting timescales.
- Work independently while balancing conflicting priorities.
- Apply your experience in adult safeguarding to ensure the best outcomes for your clients.
