We are excited to offer an ongoing locum opportunity for an experienced Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at HMP Hull, East Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:

• Cover a busy reception service, working 5pm to 9pm if DART trained.

• Assess, treat, and manage minor injuries and illnesses in a primary care setting.

• Run ACP/ANP clinics to ensure effective patient care delivery.

• Rewrite and manage detainee medication prescriptions.

• Process and file blood results accurately and promptly.

• Respond to and attend emergency calls, providing immediate care when needed.

• Participate in complex case meetings and handovers to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (for ACP) or equivalent experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

• Experience in primary care or relevant clinical settings.

• Valid Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.

• Up-to-date mandatory training and competencies.

• Prison clearance required.
