What you will do:
- Lead and manage a social work team ensuring effective delivery of safeguarding services
- Oversee team performance, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and best practice
- Provide expert guidance and decision-making support to staff across complex cases
- Facilitate team meetings and training sessions to promote professional growth and cohesion
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster partnerships and improve service delivery processes
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation in line with organisational policies
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Hold a degree or equivalent in social work and current Social Work England registration
- Have recent managerial experience working as a Team Manager or similar role such as Deputy Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager
- Possess significant frontline experience in Children’s Services as a Team Manager
