What You Will Do:

  • Provide a high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy service to adults with physical or functional limitations.

  • Conduct screening assessments and deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations to meet individual needs.

  • Work closely with service users, carers, and families to build resilience and independence.

  • Participate in safeguarding procedures, ensuring all service users receive safe and effective support.

  • Develop and review care and intervention plans, ensuring they align with each individual’s desired outcomes.

  • Promote and implement strengths-based approaches that empower individuals to achieve greater independence.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate care and achieve holistic, long-term outcomes.


About You:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience, ideally within a community or social services setting.

  • Skilled in conducting functional assessments and developing tailored care plans.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse communities.

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable, as the role may involve travel between sites.
