What you will do:

- Manage complex and high-risk children's cases, including Section 47 child protection enquiries.
- Complete high-quality statutory assessments in line with the Children Act and Working Together.
- Provide practice leadership,mentoring and informal supervision to Social Workers and NQSWs.
- Support the Team Manager with allocation, decision-making and oversight of duty work.
- Lead multi-agency working and represent the service at conferences, panels and court when required.
- Ensure assessments are child-centred, timely and meet quality standards.
- Contribute to service improvement, audits, policy development and reflective practice.
