What you will do:
- Assist the Team Manager in effectively running the service and deputise when needed.
- Undertake complex casework and oversee specific projects to ensure families and individuals receive outstanding support.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports for meetings, conferences, and courts.
- Work within the statutory framework and comply with Directorate policies, ensuring best practices are upheld.
- Promote professional excellence by monitoring and evaluating interventions for improved outcomes.
- Maintain high safeguarding standards for children and vulnerable adults by promptly reporting concerns.
- Provide day-to-day professional advice and guidance to team members to ensure service consistency and excellence.
- Contribute to formal supervision of team members and provide direct supervision of staff.
- Mentor staff through development sessions to achieve post-qualifying awards.
- Keep computer and written records updated to meet Directorate guidelines.
- Chair and participate in meetings regarding service users, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Build effective relationships with external partners and agencies to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to policy improvements and engage service users through working groups.
- Promote and implement our Diversity, Equality, Equity, and Accessibility policy in all work aspects.
- Ensure a healthy, safe, and secure environment by adhering to organisational policies.
