What you will do:

- Directly manage and supervise a small number of qualified and non-qualified social work staff, ensuring effective team functioning and development.
- Handle a caseload of complex and challenging cases with expertise and care.
- Collaborate with the team manager to uphold and enhance professional standards across the team.
- Bring your specialist knowledge of social work practice with children and families to play a key role in service development or local strategic initiatives.
- Cultivate skills, expertise, and knowledge on a wide range of practice matters, while offering consultation, coaching, and mentoring to the team.
- Facilitate effective case management, drive purposeful and evidence-based interventions, conduct analytical assessments, and produce high-quality written work.
- Support the team's growth and contribution to the recruitment process for new talents.
