What you will do:
- Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and thorough risk assessments.
- Carry out Section 47 Child Protection investigations with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare and write comprehensive statements for court proceedings.
- Complete Section 7 and Section 37 reports for legal matters.
- Confidently represent the authority in court to provide evidence and expert opinions.
- Perform home visits to monitor and safeguard the well-being of children.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate case recordings.
- Convene and chair core group meetings to drive collaborative safeguarding efforts.
- Liaise effectively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children.
- Participate in joint investigations and interviews in collaboration with law enforcement.
- Initiate and manage care proceedings from start to finish.
- Implement and review Care Plans, ensuring they meet the needs of each child.
- Supervise contact sessions to uphold child safety and welfare.
- Write detailed reports for case conferences and actively participate in strategic meetings.
- Develop and complete Child in Need plans, tailored to support each child's requirements.

Qualifications required include Social Work England registration and a relevant degree in Social Work. Experience as a qualified social worker in the UK is essential to succeed in this role.
