What You Will Do:

• Deliver services in accordance with statutory duties, safeguarding frameworks, and departmental priorities.

• Participate actively in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training programmes.

• Communicate effectively with the public and other agencies through direct contact, phone, and written correspondence.

• Work closely with external partners including health services, schools, and the police.

• Manage a complex caseload involving child protection, court work, and permanency planning.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of children and families.

• Ensure the Council’s equality and diversity policies are embedded within your practice.

• Support the development of others by supervising students and contributing to new staff inductions.

• Engage in service development activities and remain up to date with policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
