Our Safeguarding Team is seeking two experienced children's social workers to cover maternity leave within our locality social work teams, offering a full-time position brimming with professional growth opportunities. What you will do:

Conduct thorough assessments of need in accordance with national guidance, legislation, Social Work England practice standards, and departmental policies and procedures.
Design and implement plans to support children's assessed needs and fulfil the role of the allocated worker.
Partner with children, families, and carers to assess, plan, and review services.
Collaborate with local authority departments and other statutory, voluntary, and independent agencies.
Maintain high professional standards and practices ensuring decisions are made consistent with your experience and the expectations of the role.
Identify safeguarding situations and report through established processes to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
