What You Will Do:

Caseload Management: Handle complex cases involving child protection and care planning, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Supervision and Mentoring: Provide guidance and supervision to less experienced social workers, helping them navigate complex issues.

Reporting and Court Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and provide evidence in court, advocating for the best interests of children.

Risk Assessments: Use evidence-based tools to conduct thorough risk assessments, ensuring child protection within families.

Collaborative Work: Build strong, integrated partnerships with health, education, and law enforcement to support families effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential: A recognised Social Work qualification, registered with Social Work England, and experience in complex child protection and safeguarding.
