What you will do:
- Assess and provide appropriate client-centered Occupational Therapy interventions, assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum level of functional independence.
- Supervise and facilitate the development of the Disability Resource Team Staff, including Occupational Therapy Assistants and other key team members.
- Offer professional assessment, advice, and training to service users, carers, relatives, and professionals on core and specialist equipment.
- Assess complex cases and make informed recommendations for major and minor housing adaptations to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide specialist equipment to meet complex needs cost-effectively.
- Deliver moving and handling provision, including prescription and demonstration of equipment tailored to complex service users’ needs.
- Expedite and facilitate hospital discharges efficiently.
- Provide reablement interventions to help regain functional independence.
- Conduct independent mobility assessments to aid in the provision of blue badges.

Requirements:
- Registered with HCPC
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- UK Qualified experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Full-time commitment with a passion for making a difference in people's lives
