Sanctuary Personnel is exclusively recruiting for an experienced Senior Educational Psychologist to join an expanding Educational Psychology Service in Ilford, London.

This is an exclusive opportunity for a qualified and experienced Senior Educational Psychologist to take on a strategic role, influence service development and support innovative approaches across SEND, inclusion, early intervention and psychological practice.

The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking service where Educational Psychologists are valued for their expertise in consultation, assessment, intervention and wider system change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychological advice, assessment and consultation across education settings
  • Support schools, families and professionals with complex SEND needs
  • Lead on specialist areas including SEMH and emotional wellbeing
  • Contribute to service improvement, policy development and inclusive practice
  • Support and develop Assistant Educational Psychologists
  • Influence strategic approaches to SEND, equality, diversity and inclusion

The Senior Educational Psychologist role provides the opportunity to:

  • Join the Senior Leadership Team
  • Lead work around emotional wellbeing and SEMH
  • Coordinate the ELSA programme
  • Develop approaches around Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA)
  • Support innovative models of Educational Psychology delivery

About you:

You will be an experienced Educational Psychologist with:

  • HCPC registration
  • Significant experience working as an Educational Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, assessment and intervention
  • Experience supporting service development or specialist projects
  • Excellent consultation, leadership and communication skills
