What you will do:
- EHCP Management: Lead the preparation, assessment, and review of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Case Coordination: Manage a caseload, ensuring statutory deadlines are met and all involved parties, such as families, schools, health, and social care, collaborate effectively.
- Advocacy and Support: Act as a key point of contact for families, guiding them through the EHCP process and ensuring the child’s voice is central to the plan.
- Compliance: Ensure all EHCP processes adhere to relevant legislation and the SEND Code of Practice, maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track the effectiveness of EHCPs, provide regular progress updates, and address any issues that arise in the implementation of support.
