We are seeking an exceptional Senior Staff Nurse to join our nurse-led renal care team in Bangor, UK. You will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective haemodialysis treatment within state-of-the-art clinics, working alongside the NHS to provide cutting-edge patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver haemodialysis treatment safely and effectively, adhering to patient prescriptions.

  • Promote patient-focused care, ensuring the highest clinical standards.

  • Share specialist renal nursing knowledge with colleagues to advance practice.

  • Ensure safety in handling hazardous chemicals and blood products.

  • Perform and teach cannulation for dialysis with precision and skill.

  • Minimise injuries and maintain a safe clinical environment.

  • Operate and maintain dialysis machines, providing guidance to staff and patients.

  • Participate in decision-making within the nurse-led satellite unit using clinical and corporate data.

  • Maintain a clean and secure environment for patient care.

  • Provide clinical cover in other Renal Services units as needed.

  • Collaborate with NHS trust sites through educational programmes.

Person Specification:

  • Registered Nurse with experience in renal nursing.

  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable and flexible.

  • Friendly, outgoing, and able to thrive within a team environment.

  • Committed to patient safety, quality care, and professional development.
