What you will do
- Manage a caseload of service users, delivering keyworking sessions and personalised recovery planning.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and reviews to maintain accurate and timely case records.
- Deliver structured one-to-one and group interventions focused on recovery, relapse prevention and harm reduction.
- Support service users to access appropriate treatment pathways, healthcare services, housing, employment, and training opportunities.
- Promote recovery, resilience, peer support, independence, and social reintegration within the local community.
Requirements
- DBS on the update service.
- Proven experience in substance misuse (drugs and alcohol).
- Strong caseload management and keyworking skills.
- Good understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.
Person Specification
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Substance Misuse, Community Work or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
- Relevant training in safeguarding, risk assessment, motivational interviewing or recovery-focused practice.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience supporting adults affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse within a health, social care, community or voluntary sector setting.
- Proven experience managing complex and vulnerable caseloads.
