A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recovery Worker to join the Homeless Team in Birmingham. This full-time, ongoing locum role provides the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable adults facing homelessness and substance misuse challenges. If you have relevant experience, particularly with Buvidal, and are available to start promptly, we would love to hear from you. The initial contract is set for 6 weeks, with strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

Provide proactive support to individuals experiencing homelessness to aid their recovery journey

Assist clients in accessing Buvidal as part of medication-assisted treatment

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and community partners

Conduct assessments and deliver tailored interventions that promote independence and wellbeing

Maintain accurate case records and contribute to effective communication across the service
