Qualified Social Worker – Children’s Services (Experienced / SWL3)
Location: Enfield
Pay Rate: £28.87 PAYE or £37.52 Umbrella per hour
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 36 hours per week (09:00 – 17:30)

Seven Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy Children’s Services team in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to step into a fast-paced local authority environment and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:

• Manage a varied caseload of children and families, working independently

• Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements

• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective risk management plans

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recordings and documentation

• Work in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

• Meet key performance indicators and service deadlines

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

• Follow management direction and contribute to team objectives

Requirements of the Social Worker:

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience in local authority children’s social care (permanent roles)

• Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, policies, and procedures within Children’s Services

• Proven ability to manage complex cases independently

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong assessment and risk management expertise

• Ability to adapt quickly and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

• Social Work England registration
