We are currently supporting an urgent requirement with Cleveland Police for experienced Healthcare Professionals to provide custody healthcare services across their custody suites. We are keen to hear from Registered General Nurses (RGNs), Nurse Practitioners, and other suitably qualified healthcare professionals who have relevant clinical experience and are comfortable working within a police custody environment.

What you will do:
- Provide custody healthcare services including triage, conducting clinical assessments, managing medicines, and supporting detainee welfare.
- Work across Middlesbrough Headquarters and other Cleveland Police custody sites, delivering healthcare services in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Handle 12-hour shifts, split between day and night rotations, ensuring comprehensive care for detainees.
- Support detainees by effectively managing their healthcare needs whilst in police custody.

Candidate requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) or equivalent healthcare qualification.
- Ideally 3+ years' post-registration experience within a relevant healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in custody, urgent care, emergency care, mental health, forensic, A&E, or community nursing is highly advantageous.
- Existing Police Vetting (NPPV Level 2 Full) is desirable, although candidates who can successfully complete the vetting process will also be considered.

Due to the urgency of this requirement, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are available to start at short notice and can commit to regular shifts. Candidates based within or close to the Cleveland area are preferred, but opportunities may be available for those willing to commute with potential support for accommodation and travel expenses.
