What you will do:
- Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based practice and client-centred principles, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions.
- Provide a comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and rehabilitation service to service users with varying disability needs.
- Supervise and facilitate professional development for Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
- Play an active role in staff education through in-service training, multi-disciplinary training programmes, IHSCS programmes, and work experience.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure a high standard of service.
- Engage with the Occupational Therapy Service and MDT in a variety of settings including hospitals, community environments, service users’ homes, workplaces, and more.

Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
- Be registered with the HCPC.
- Have evidence of postgraduate CPD and experience working at Band 5 level or above in at least two clinical areas, including experience with older people or those with physical disabilities.
- Be knowledgeable in Occupational Therapy models and treatment approaches, and capable of critically evaluating implementation in line with organisational policies.
- Possess strong self-management, prioritisation, and delegation skills, with the ability to recognise when to seek support.
- Have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team with developed interpersonal skills and the self-confidence to form effective working relationships.
