What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children, considering their sensory needs and using specialist equipment.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans aimed at enhancing the children’s independence and quality of life.
- Manage complex applications through the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and housing requirements.
- Provide expert advice and training to families and other professionals on sensory needs and moving and handling techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with experience in conducting assessments for children and a strong understanding of sensory needs, moving and handling techniques, and specialist equipment. Knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grant legislation and housing requirements is essential, as the role involves managing complex DFG applications. Candidates must be HCPC registered and ideally be adventurous enough to drive to bring their unique touch to our team.
