Role Purpose
To support and manage the Front Door Team in Stockport, ensuring effective triaging of referrals, adherence to safeguarding policies, and operational efficiency. The Assistant Team Manager will provide strategic and operational support, maintaining high standards in service delivery and team performance.
Key Responsibilities

Triaging referrals to ensure timely and effective responses

Support the Team Manager in day-to-day operations and team oversight

Use Liquid Logic and professional judgement to make informed, defensible decisions in line with safeguarding policies

Provide operational and strategic guidance, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures

Manage complex cases and maintain clarity and direction within a dynamic workload
Applicant Requirements

Qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist

Previous management experience within social services

Competence in triaging referrals and applying safeguarding principles

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a busy team environment
