What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' needs for aids and adaptations.
- Develop, implement, and review intervention plans tailored to individual clients, focusing on enhancing mobility and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Recommend and prescribe major adaptations, ensuring all adjustments meet the necessary regulations and enhance patients' quality of life.
- Educate clients and their families on the use and maintenance of adaptive equipment and aids.
Requirements:
- Must be a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in aids and adaptations.
- Experience of plans and prescribing major adaptations is essential.
- HCPC registration is required for this role.
- Being a car driver is essential, as you will be travelling across Wolverhampton to meet clients and perform assessments.
