What You Will Do:
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing substance misuse issues.
- Prescribe medications as part of comprehensive recovery plans, including opioid substitute treatments like methadone and buprenorphine.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs to develop tailored care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies, adjusting medications as needed to optimise patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and empathetic patient care.
- Advocate for your patients, supporting a recovery-focused approach and educating on substance misuse and harm reduction.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and professional standards.
