What you will do:
- Provide an assessment service for patients requiring long-term wheelchair use, both manual and powered, in diverse settings.
- Undertake complex assessments encompassing postural, pressure care, and seating needs in relation to wheelchair mobility, utilizing a person-centred approach and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize custom-made postural supportive equipment to support patient needs.
- Conduct in-depth environmental and functional assessments and formulate actionable plans.
- Implement manual handling interventions regarding equipment provision, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate and supervise students, adding value to the next generation of occupational therapy professionals.

Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within an NHS setting.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience within a wheelchair service is essential for delivering specialized care.
- Ability to supervise students is desirable, offering educational guidance and practical experience.
