What you will do:
- Dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical support and expert pharmaceutical advice to medical and nursing staff.
- Conduct medication reviews and optimize the therapeutic use of medicines for patients.
- Participate in ward rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure safe and effective use of medications through monitoring and quality assurance processes.
- Educate patients on their medications, ensuring they understand the benefits and potential side effects.
- Support the implementation of new pharmacy services and innovations.
Candidate requirements include being registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), having a minimum of 6 months post-qualification work experience, completing a 1-year pre-registration training, and previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
