Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Wrexham

Job Details:

• Pay: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, Day role
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free on-site parking 

Job Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the site’s Maintenance team, providing timely and professional support across a range of mechanical and control system tasks. Your responsibilities will include carrying out routine maintenance, responding to breakdowns swiftly to reduce production downtime, and supporting wider site initiatives that aim to deliver world-class manufacturing standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience of mechanical repair of production equipment
• Demonstrated track record in a manufacturing environment
• Team-based working experience
• Ability to use in-house maintenance systems for task tracking
• Formal Engineering qualification (BTEC or equivalent) – ESSENTIAL

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Basic welding knowledge and working experience
