Maintenance Engineer in Harrogate, Yorkshire And The Humber

Shift: Panama 2s & 3s – Days & Nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Harrogate area.

The successful Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, ensuring equipment remains reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Engineer:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.

• Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns.

• Complete PPM schedules to a high standard.

• Carry out fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.

• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.

• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.

• Ensure all engineering work is completed safely and efficiently.

Skills required for the Multi Skilled Engineer:

• Multi Skilled Engineering background with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.

• Engineering qualification – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent.

• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
