Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Greenhithe

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000

Shift: Double Days (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)

Job Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will carry out a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance, working to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

This role will involve working closely with the production team, identifying faults, and supporting ongoing improvements across the site. It is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to join a stable and well-established business.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background
• Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Ability to fault find quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Experience with production, processing or packaging machinery
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to carry out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance
• Team player with a proactive approach

Desirable Requirements:

• PLC fault finding experience
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing experience
