What you will do:
- Lead the strategic Adults Commissioning process, influencing providers, senior leaders, and system partners.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with statutory legislation, regulations, and council standing orders.
- Develop strategic policies and procedures that guide the effective commission of adult social care services.
- Directly manage and develop staff, fostering an environment of growth and support.
- Analyse complex data and create strategies and plans to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders across Health and Social Care sectors.
- Assess organisational performance, facilitating continuous improvement and organisational development.

Requirements of the Head of Adults Commissioning:
- Ability to analyse and present complex information and influence stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading strategic change and working across sectors to improve outcomes.
- Expertise in commissioning processes and performance management.
- Experience in developing policies and managing budgets.
