Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)
Job Role:
As an Incinerator Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a thermal treatment facility, ensuring waste is processed in line with strict environmental and safety regulations. You will monitor and control plant systems, manage combustion processes, and maintain optimal plant performance. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in continuous process environments who are looking to transition into the energy-from-waste sector.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Experience working within a continuous process or industrial plant environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety and permit systems
- Ability to work with control systems such as SCADA or DCS
- Experience monitoring and adjusting plant operations, temperatures, pressures, and flows

Key skills required:
- Experience with continuous production or processing environments
- Knowledge of combustion, steam systems, or thermal processes
- Ability to fault-find and optimise plant performance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience within an Energy from Waste (EfW) or incineration facility
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Confined Space or other plant-based safety certifications
- Mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge
- Experience operating mobile plant (e.g. FLT, loading shovel)
