HSG47 Skilled Operative

Location: South Shields
Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour CIS
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced HSG47 Skilled Operative to join an energy project based in South Shields, working on concrete trough installations and associated groundworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out groundworks and concrete trough installation activities
• Follow HSG47 requirements and site-specific procedures
• Use cable avoidance tools and other relevant equipment safely
• Identify and safely expose underground services where required
• Assist with excavation, trenching and preparation works
• Support the wider site team with general skilled labouring duties
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working area
• Report any hazards, damaged services or changes in ground conditions

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Gold Card   
• EUSR Cat 2 HSG47 Training 0 Implement Safe Digging
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
