Designated LADO Officer & Children’s Representative in Herefordshire UK, earning £38 Hourly. Initial 6-month contract. Full-time position of 37 hours per week with the added bonus of fully remote working. What you will do:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to employers and organisations regarding any concerns about adults working or volunteering with children.
- Coordinate and manage allegations ensuring timely, fair, and robust responses.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies, enhancing cooperative efforts towards safeguarding children.
- Scrutinise and challenge situations where necessary, maintaining a vigilant eye on risk management.
- Ensure adherence to legal and procedural standards, following guidelines set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children.
