What you will do:
- Deliver highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children and young people with SLCN.
- Manage complex and highly specialist caseloads independently, working across specialist education provisions including Special Schools and Complex Local Authority Resource Provisions (LARPs).
- Assess and treat children and young people with dysphagia and eating and drinking difficulties.
- Provide both individual and group therapy interventions.
- Offer specialist second opinions and clinical advice to colleagues and external professionals.
- Contribute to Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments, reports, and annual reviews.
- Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways. Deliver specialist training to parents, carers, schools, and professionals.
- Work collaboratively with education, health, social care, and voluntary sector partners.
- Support and mentor junior Speech and Language Therapists and assistants. Contribute to service development, audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare highly specialist reports including tribunal and statutory documentation.
- Deputise for service and clinical leads when required.

Duration: 12 Weeks
Hours: 08:30 to 16:30 or 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with 7.5-hour days
Part-time applicants will also be considered
Working across various educational settings within Greenwich
Service includes dysphagia caseloads
You will contribute to EHCP assessments and provision
HCPC and RCSLT registration required
