We are seeking a Band 8a Modern Matron to join Whitby Community Hospital. This full-time, ongoing role offers £36.00 per hour and the opportunity to lead the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective community nursing services across Scarborough, Ryedale, Whitby, and Pocklington. Work alongside Community Matrons, Service Managers, Team Leaders, and Clinical Leads to develop services through a quality improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality community nursing services.
Implement and drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance service provision.
Collaborate with Service Managers, Team Leaders, and Clinical Leads for cohesive service delivery.
Ensure safe and effective practices across community services in Scarborough, Ryedale, Whitby, and Pocklington.
Provide strategic leadership and direction, promoting patient-focused, outcome-driven care.
