What you will do:

- Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication needs, focusing particularly on Stroke and Dysphagia cases.
- Collaborate with a holistic team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic programmes to help patients achieve their communication goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide advice and training to relatives, carers, and other professionals about communication difficulties.
- Maintain records and write reports on patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Requirements:

- HCPC registration is mandatory to ensure professional standards are met and maintained.
- A car driver is preferred due to the community-based nature of the role, allowing better access to patients.
