We are looking for an accomplished and skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist specialising in Disability Services Team to join a dynamic team in Guernsey, UK. What you will do:
- Take a lead role in developing high standards of current evidence-based practice and lead Occupational Therapy services for older adults with disabilities.
- Act as a lead clinician, supporting the operational delivery and evaluation of services provided for adults with disabilities.
- Engage in education and training programs for staff, OT students, and other professionals to promote learning and development.
- Collaboratively work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of care across settings like community centers and the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
- Work autonomously to manage a caseload, providing Occupational Therapy services to service users with complex needs.
- Develop and deliver tailored Occupational Therapy programs based on comprehensive assessments and evidence-based practice.
- Establish therapeutic relationships using advanced communication skills and create individualized discharge plans.
- Provide specialist advice and training to multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Actively contribute to service delivery improvement and development of clinical policies.
- Maintain professional standards aligned with the Health & Care Professions Council requirements.
