Job Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Children’s Physiotherapist to join a dedicated paediatric service in Milton Keynes on an ongoing locum basis. This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact within paediatric and neurodisability services while benefiting from flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a neurodisability caseload for children and young people aged 0–19 years, including work on the paediatric ward
Assess, plan and deliver specialised physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, child-centred care
Provide education, guidance and support to families and carers to promote ongoing rehabilitation at home
Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional standards

Person Specification
Essential

HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
Experience working within paediatric physiotherapy services
Knowledge of neurodisability assessment and treatment approaches
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable

Previous NHS experience at Band 7 level
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Milton Keynes area
