What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive CAMHS assessments for children and young people within the team

• Conduct screening and triage CAMHS appointments efficiently and effectively

• Manage cases for young people awaiting treatment, contributing to specialised support plans

• Formulate and implement treatment plans, drawing on evidence-based methods across various care settings

• Engage in risk assessment and risk management, advising other professionals as necessary

• Act as a case manager, planning and reviewing CAMHS care plans collaboratively

• Communicate effectively about assessments, treatment plans, and progress with involved parties

• Participate in a local duty rota, offering urgent response and evening clinic work when required

• Provide support to parents and young people in crisis or between appointments

• Liaise closely with schools and agencies involved in the care of young people
