What you will do:
- Provide evidence-based care and manage a caseload using the Care Programme Approach, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans for individuals.
- Lead and facilitate therapeutic group sessions and deliver interventions based on the stepped care model.
- Coordinate within multi-disciplinary teams to provide cohesive and comprehensive interventions.
- Line manage and support Band 5 nurses, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure timely hospital transfers in accordance with the Mental Health Act when necessary.
- Work some weekends as part of a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the service.
Qualifications required:
- Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development and compliance with NMC revalidation.
- A relevant teaching or mentoring qualification.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience within the mental health sector.
- Proficiency in delivering specialist interventions, such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and counselling techniques.
- Experience in supervising and managing staff effectively.
