Exciting Opportunity for Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist in Leicester, UK within Neuro/Early Supported Discharge Team - Earn £26 Hourly! Start ASAP - Ongoing.
This full-time locum role offers a unique chance to work within the dynamic neuro team focused on stroke rehabilitation. The successful candidate will work across two clinical areas: the hospital-based stroke ward and the Early Supported Stroke Discharge team, which provides home-based rehabilitation for patients.

What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of stroke patients in both inpatient and home settings.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support patient recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Facilitate smooth discharge processes with comprehensive planning and communication.
- Travel to patients' homes for community-based care within the Early Supported Discharge team.

Requirements:

- Current HCPC registration with 2 years’ experience.
- Clinical experience working with stroke patients.
- Car driver is preferable for community visits.
