What You Will Do:

  • Deliver specialised occupational therapy focused on neurological and general medical inpatient rehabilitation.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual therapy needs.

  • Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes that promote recovery and independence.

  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

  • Continuously monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Support patients’ transition from inpatient care to home or community environments.

  • Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers, fostering long-term recovery and well-being.

To be successful in this role, you must hold current registration with the HCPC and demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
