This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join a well-established Community Psychiatry service in Loughton. Working 37.5 hours per week, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care within the community. What you will do:

• Manage and coordinate the care of service users within the community setting

• Complete comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalised care plans

• Undertake risk assessments and implement strategies to maintain service user safety

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust policies

• Attend and actively contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings

• Administer medication, monitor side effects, and promote adherence to treatment plans

• Provide mental health education and support to service users and their carers

• Contribute to audits, service development, and evidence-based practice initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration

• Experience working within community mental health services

• Strong assessment, risk management, and care coordination skills

• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a wider team

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care
