What you will do:

• Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional, sensory, and developmental evaluations to tailor support to each child's needs.

• Develop and deliver individualised intervention plans, enhancing children’s participation in daily activities such as self-care, education, and play.

• Provide specialist advice and strategies to families, schools, and professionals to effectively support children's unique needs.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, and education staff to provide holistic care and support.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy

• Evidence of continued professional development

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Knowledge of relevant frameworks and legislation such as the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (0–25 years)

• Enhanced DBS clearance required
