What you will do:
Work independently and collaboratively to deliver a highly specialised clinical and technical post-mortem service for both paediatric and adult cases.
Assist pathologists in determining causes of death for cases involving the South Yorkshire Bereavement Partnership, coroners, and hospital requests.
Provide professional guidance and compassionate support to bereaved relatives and medical staff.
Supervise, train, and support technical and medical staff to ensure a collaborative and effective working environment.
Perform routine and advanced tasks within Mortuaries and Post Mortem Suites while maintaining high professional standards.
Manage the care and transportation of the deceased through Mortuary services in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
HCPC registration is essential.
Minimum of two years’ relevant experience within a similar role.
A driving licence is preferable but not essential.
