What you will do:

- Perform the reading and analysis of routine microbiology specimens, including urines, routine swabs, HVS, priority swabs, blood cultures, urgent fluid, and enteric PCR.
- Interpret results and engage in colony recognition with a thorough knowledge of identification methods and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory practice and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Contribute to team meetings and discussions, offering insights and recommendations based on your expertise.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.

Requirements:

- HCPC Registration: You must hold current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council to apply for this role.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential to travel between locations and provide support where necessary.
